Abstract: India is a country with a diverse and rich cultural past. Indian art and architecture use colors that hold significant symbolic meaning. These are believed to have an impact on human emotions and behaviour. This research study examines Indian cultural heritage, the effects of colors on human behaviour and the implications that result. India’s art and architecture are expressions of its rich cultural past. Indian art and architecture use symbolic and deeply meaningful colours. The color red is associated with energy, power and passion in India. It is often used on auspicious occasions such as weddings and is also considered to bring good luck. Similarly, blue is often used in temples and other places of worship and is associated with peace and relaxation. Green is used in gardens and other outdoor areas because it is associated with nature. Colors have a profound impact on human emotions and behaviour. Different colors evoke different emotions and can cause different reactions in people. For example, red is often used to energize the body and mind and is associated with vitality and enthusiasm. Blue is commonly used to calm and relax the mind as it is associated with harmony and peace. Green is associated with nature and is often used to promote wealth, healing, and repair. In conclusion, both Indian art and architecture showcase the country’s vast and diverse cultural heritage. Indian art and architecture use colors that are believed to have deep symbolic meaning and influence human emotions and behaviour. Awareness of Indian culture and how it influences human behaviour requires the study of Indian cultural history, awareness of the effects of colors on human behaviour, and the conclusions that can be drawn from this.
