ABSTRACT: Many artists from all creative platforms are using digital media into their practices as a result of the swift developments in digital media and new technology. In this article, I present how digital tools and computer programs can be effectively used by fine artists in their work. Specifically, I assessed and investigated Tanzanians’ awareness of digital media and fine arts, as well as the impact of digital media on Tanzanian artists’ creativity. I collected data through artist interviews and surveys using Google Forms questionnaires; basic descriptive language and SPSS were utilized for analysis. This paper also emphasizes how digital media may help with idea generation and compositional elements for fine arts applications.
